Artists' Reception: Saturday, July 29, 1 pm

Pick up Dates: August 8, 9, 15 & 16
Studio Hours: Monday 1-9pm, Wednesday-Friday 1-9pm
A note about pick up of artwork:
Work left in the studio after August 16 will incur a $5.00 per day storage fee.

SUBMISSION FEE
There is no exhibition fee, but all applicants must be Visual Arts Members of Women's Studio Center to have their work included
in this show.
SIZE
2-D Media: 14" x 17"
3-D Media: 20" high, 15" wide, 15" deep
All 2-D media must fit within the size restrictions, including the frame. There will be no exceptions to this requirement.
Women's Studio Center reserves the right to reject 2-D work that is framed improperly or is unsuitable for hanging, or 3-D
work that is not mounted properly or is unstable.

SUBMISSION MATERIALS
Each submission must include up to 3 images, as paper- mounted slides, photos, or digital images.
SLIDE AND PHOTO SUBMISSIONS
Each slide or photo must be labeled with the following:
- Artist's Name
- Title of Piece
- Media
- Indication of the Top (orientation of the piece)
DIGITAL IMAGES
Submit images plus slide list on a CD or submit online via this web site - see submission form link at the top of this page.
Digital images must fit the following size requirements (anything outside these requirements will not be accepted):
- 72 dpi
- 400 mega pixels maximum
If you're submitting images via our website, please name each image file with the name of the work and the number of the image.
For example: "/MyImage1.jpg"
Also, be sure to include your name in the email subject line.
NOTE: Hard copy submission materials that do not include an SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) will not be returned.
NOTES ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS
The decision of the jury is final. Only work chosen by the jury will be accepted - no substitutions. Work that is chosen should
be available during the exhibit dates stated above or the artist will not be included in the show.
Women's Studio Center, its staff, volunteers, and members are not responsible for theft or damage to your artwork, whether
in handling, hanging, transport, or during the exhibition itself.
By entering your work in this exhibition you are consenting to allow Women's Studio Center to use your images for publicity
related to the exhibit.
SHIPPING
Women's Studio Center will accept work mailed via UPS, Fed Ex and US Postage. All art shipped to the Studio must be shipped
to our front entrance: 21-25 44 Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101.
Please note that this is not our mailing address. Submission materials should not be mailed to this address.
Return shipping must be paid for in advance. Artists must provide the Studio with pre-paid shipping labels and return packaging.
Also, be sure that the Pick Up Fee is paid in advance. Failure to pay this fee will result in a significant delay in returning
artwork to the artist.
